The national park fee for Maya Bay is 400 THB per adult foreign visitor and 200 THB per child foreign visitor. The fee is payable in Thai baht cash only. Beating the Crowds

The first day trip boats arrive at Maya Bay between 09:00 and 09:30. That means you share the beach with the first wave of speedboats. If you want Maya Bay without the day trip crowd, you need to stay overnight on Phi Phi Don and depart by private longtail at 06:00 to 06:30. The quiet side of the island is the east coast, Long Beach and the area around Laem Tong and Viking Nature Resort. Those areas are dark and calm after sunset. Tonsai Bay is the opposite: loud beach bars, fire shows, late music that runs until 01:00 to 02:00. No noise ordinance is enforced on the Tonsai beachfront. If you want sleep, do not book on that side.

A one-night stay is the minimum for a dawn trip to Maya Bay. A two-night stay removes the pressure of the day trip schedule entirely and gives you time for the viewpoint walk and a relaxed afternoon on Long Beach.
